Northern Twilight Farm is pleased to announce that we are now able to offered on-farm artificial insemination and transported semen. Northern Equine Services will be performing this service for us. This means that our Section A Welsh can now successfully be bred to large mares for that desirable large pony size foal. Stud fees for the Welsh stallions are $500 for AI and include the first collection and shipping of semen. If your mare does not get in foal with the first shipment of semen, subsequent collection and shipping will be charged $175 for each shipment.
We offer a live foal guarantee -- 'Up and sucking."

Northern Bryndwr (Jet Arrows Brynowan X Kayruss Jewelette). Black Bay. Stands 12.1 hh. Champion old bloodlines. 'Bryn' has long low action (for a Welsh) with an incredible natural extension. This 24 year old stallion has had many wins at halter and harness. Bryn is still ridden and driven regularly at home. His foals have been sold across western Canada as driving ponies, jumpers, breeding stock, kid's ponies and backyard pets. His son, Northern Nite Sky, won Supreme All Breed Champion as a yearling at Bulkley Valley Exhibition. The same pony then went on to win Supreme Champion at the All Breed Pony Show in Maple Ridge in 2006. "Neet" has won 2 Supreme All Breed Championships at the Bulkley Valley Exhibition. "Neet" has extreme knee action and has won at open liberty. He passes on this impressive movement to his foals. He has excellent Welsh type, very trainable, and a well mannered stallion. He is ridden and driven regularly at home and we hope to have him driving in the show ring in 2007. His foals are very popular as they are very pretty and have great action for driving ponies. Standing at stud to ponies by natural cover. $500 all breeds. $400 live cover to pony mares only.

Sargeant's Desert Spirit (Sulejman's Shadow X SC Baskhalima)Chestnut. 15 hh. DNA typed. Typey head and neck. Correct conformation. Spirit has wins in halter and liberty. He is ridden at home on the trail. He has a very quiet, gentle temperament that makes him a joy to own and handle. This trait is passed on to his foals so they are very trainable. Standing at stud to horses and ponies by natural cover and by shipped semen. $500 all breeds natural cover. $550 for AI/shipped semen.

Island Chief is our newest addition. He is being offered to a limited number of approved mares in 2009. Chief is Paint, Trakhner and ARabian bloodlines. He has a wonderful temperament and has become the barn favorite. He has all black breeding so will most likely throw only dark coloured foals.
While your mare is visting one of our stallions, she will be treated to her own paddock with 2 feedings daily.
Mare care is $7.00 per day.
